NRoobhai provides a digital gold and silver savings experience. By creating an account, accessing our services, or continuing to use our app and website, you agree to the Terms below. Please read them carefully.

This is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2022 and the rules made thereunder, and does not require any physical or digital signatures. This is being published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011. ‍

The Platform is an online portal that facilitates the Users to purchase/sale/transfer gold in digital form from the brand named “NRoobhai” and managed by ILAN Gold and Diamonds, a proprietorship based firm registered with GSTIN 33BJBPR5357Q1ZL provides for purchase and sale of Gold, and providing services of safekeeping, vaulting, delivery and fulfilment of gold and related services (“Services”).

You understand that the Gold is being offered for purchase by NRoobhai, and the User can also sell the Gold through NRoobhai. As per the terms and conditions of NRoobhai(available at https://www.nroobhai.in/terms-and-conditions), the Gold purchased by You will be accounted in a Ledger maintained by NRoobhai and the corresponding quantity of gold in physical form will be stored with RBI Approved  Vault (“Custodian”). NRoobhai has also appointed a trustee (“Trustee Administrator”), and You agree to the appointment of such Trustee Administrator and the Custodian, and also accede to the terms for such arrangement with the Trustee Administrator (being the Trustee Administrator agreement). The Trustee Administrator shall be responsible for monitoring the physical gold held on Your behalf with the Custodian.

Please read these Terms and Conditions and privacy policy (available at https://www.nroobhai.in/privacy-policy) carefully before registering on the Platform or accessing any material and/or information through the Platform. The Company retains an unconditional right to modify or amend this Terms and Conditions without any requirement to notify You of the same. You can determine when this Terms and Conditions was last modified by referring to the ‘Last Updated’ legend above. It shall be Your responsibility to check this Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Platform shall indicate an acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions, and shall signify Your consent to the changes to the Terms and Conditions and the intention to be legally bound by the amended Terms and Conditions.

‍ Before using our Services and before buying the Gold, Users are also recommended to read the terms of services and privacy policy of Digital Gold India Private Limited which can be accessed at https://www.nroobhai.in/terms-and-conditions. In case of any conflict between these Terms and the terms of NRoobhai, the terms of NRoobhai in relation to the purchase and/or sale of Gold shall prevail. It is also clarified that these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions of NRoobhai apply to You once you avail of the Services and purchase Gold.

1. Eligibility & Account

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable to enter into binding contracts.

• You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your details up to date.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

• By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are above the 18 years of age and qualified to enter into a legally binding contract, enforceable under Indian law, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are not eligible to enter into any contract, then please discontinue use of the Platform and leave now. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 18 years of age, by registering/by creating an account or profile on the Platform, you provide your consent to your child’s registration and you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in respect of their use of our Platform.

• We will at all times assume (and by using this Platform you warrant that) you have the legal ability to purchase and sell Gold and otherwise use this Platform, and are capable of being bound by these Terms and Conditions. Further, by using the Platform, You confirm that you are not registered under any applicable Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and that if, in the course of your relationship with our Platform and/or NRoobhai, you become registered under the applicable Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017

2. KYC, Verification & Compliance

• We may require identity verification and KYC checks to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

• NRoobhai may deny or restrict access if required due to regulatory obligations or suspicious activity.

• You can register to the Platform by providing your personal information including name, age, gender and registered mobile number. The registration will be validated by sending one time password (OTP) to the registered mobile number.

• We may also ask You for certain financial information, including Your billing address, bank account details, credit card number, expiration date and/or other payment related details or other payment method data, and debit instructions or other standing instructions to process payments for the Platform Services

• By registering on the Platform, you agree to (a) provide correct details when prompted on the Platform and failure to do so may invalidate your request to use Services; (b) authorise the Platform and the Company to retain the information shared by You for the purpose of using the Platform and/or accessing the Services and for any marketing campaign undertaken by the Company and/or third-party service providers; and (c) by giving Your details, You agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and the privacy policy. Also, by registering, you agree that you will not allow others to use Your account and that you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under Your username.

• The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions. You may be held liable for losses incurred by the Company or any other user of or visitor to the Platform due to authorized or unauthorized use of Your Account as a result of Your failure in keeping Your Account information secure and confidential.

3. Savings, Pricing & Transactions

• Prices for gold and silver are derived from market sources and may be volatile.

• Deposits, redemptions, and withdrawals are subject to processing times, network/market conditions, and fees disclosed at checkout.

• Transaction confirmations, receipts, and statements are provided digitally in-app or via email.

4. Custody & Redemption

• NRoobhai facilitates fractional holdings of gold/silver through partnered custodians and vault providers where applicable.

• Physical redemption (if offered) may include making charges, logistics charges, and verification steps.

5. Fees & Taxes

• Service fees are displayed prior to order completion. All applicable taxes are your responsibility.

• We may revise fees from time to time; changes will be reflected before you confirm a transaction.

6. Risk Disclosure

• Investments in precious metals carry market risk. Values can go up or down.

• Past performance does not guarantee future results. Only invest what you can afford to hold long term.

7. User Conduct

• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, fraud, money laundering, or prohibited transactions.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

8. Data Collection & Use

We collect personal information to provide our services, including identity verification, account security, transaction processing, and customer support. Details about data categories, processing purposes, and retention are described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Communications

• You consent to receive service-related emails, SMS, and in-app notifications.

• You may opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting service messages.

10. Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

• Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur; we will use reasonable efforts to inform you.

11. Intellectual Property

• All trademarks, logos, and content on NRoobhai are owned by us or our licensors.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the content except as permitted by law or with written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NRoobhai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; losses due to market movements or damages beyond our reasonable control.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app/website or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
